To Each Their Own Sets Audience Record at Theatreworks New Milford

We had a successful reading of Tracey Knight Narang's moving and thought-provoking play, To Each Their Own, as part of the Page2Stage reading series at Theatreworks New Milford, CT.

Carol Ziske directed the talented cast who presented the full-length play about family relationships, choices and consequences to the largest audience ever for the theater's series. A talkback followed where the audience had a chance to ask questions and offer feedback.

The fabulous team:

Jennifer Edwards (Jenn) is an alumna of Walnut Hill, UMass Amherst, and Sacred Heart University. A professional ballerina for 15 years, she danced principal roles such as Aurora in Sleeping Beauty and Raymonda in Raymonda with Saint Paul City Ballet. Jennifer is a Neonatal Occupational Therapist in Waterbury, CT and made her acting debut last year as Ursula in the Press Box Theater’s Broadway Villains Cabaret, where the audience voted

her Best Villain. She has since performed with the Cheshire Town Players, playing Maria in Twelfth Night. Jennifer lives with her husband Ross and her two cats, who occasionally tolerate her.

Chris Guertin (John) started his theatre journey in 2021 and has been hooked since. Some favorite past performances include 39 Steps(Clown 2) and Urinetown (Officer Barrel) at Goshen Players, It's Only a Play(Frank Finger) and Anastasia (Vlad) at Landmark Community Theatre, and How To Succeed in Business Without Really

Trying (Bert Bratt) at the Press Box Theater in Southbury. Chris also frequently contributes to set design and construction and made his directorial debut at LCT last Christmas season with Miracle on 34th Street.

Joe Guttadauro (Nate) is excited to be part of this reading of To Each Their Own. Recent stage credits include Gomez Addams in The Addams Family, Emcee in Cabaret, Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, Luigi Gaudi in Lucky Stiff, Dick Bernly in 9 to 5, and Alf in Peter and the Starcatcher. Joe’s recent directing credits include: The Women, Almost Maine, What’s Cooking? and Durang/Durang (Goshen Players); The SpongeBob Musical,

Something Rotten, Mamma Mia and The Game’s Afoot (the Warner Stage Company); and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (Landmark Community Theatre). Joe lives in Litchfield with his husband Dan and dog Baylee.

Becca Lynn (Liz) is an actor, costume designer, and lifelong theatre artist who is happiest when helping bring stories to life. A graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a BFA in Costume Design, she began her career in professional theatre, including Broadway wardrobe, before returning to the stage in Connecticut, where she has enjoyed performing and designing costumes for productions throughout the region. Favorite roles include Alice in I Never

Sang for My Father, Madame Thénardier in Les Misérables, and Vera Charles in Auntie Mame. Becca is especially grateful for opportunities to collaborate on new works and is honored to be part of this reading.

Sachi Parker (Helen), the daughter of internationally acclaimed film star Shirley MacLaine and the late producer Steve Parker, is an award-winning actress in her own right, appearing in theater and films throughout the world. Parker made her film debut in l985 in “Stick,” directed by Burt Reynolds, and appeared in “Back to the Future,”

“About Last Night,” “Peggy Sue Got Married” and others as well as numerous TV guest star roles. She has appeared in regional theatre companies She is currently starring in a web series “The So So You Don’t Know.”

Tracey Knight Narang (Playwright) is a New York-based Tony Award-winning producer, playwright, and president of TKN Productions, producing theatre on Broadway and the West End, as well as films. She is also a former board member of New York City Center and the Westport Country Playhouse.

Carol Ziske (Director) is an accomplished theatre director, choreographer, actor, and educator with over five decades of professional experience. Her acting credits include the original Broadway run of Fiddler on the Roof and the first national tour of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She recently directed The Fantasticks, Love Letters, Villains of Broadway, Winter Wonderettes, New Playwrights Festival, Idiomatic, Hurricane Jimmy, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying for The Press Box Theater in Southbury, CT. She also directed One Touch of Ava for Gracewell's Staged InTent series at Ivoryton Playhouse. She is collaborating with composer William Linster on new musicals Hurricane Jimmy and Quentin.
